Think Free

Today, Adrien and I had a little time and were prompted by a user question to look at various online word processing sites. Online word processing allows any user who has a computer and internet connection to do word processing. Say goodbye to buying Office! Documents are stored and edited remotely in a suprisingly microsoftesque java window and can be shared with other users. Of the various websites that allow this like Zoho, Google and Thinkfree, we felt the later was the most robust and Word like. Although we did have a few glitches with the interface freezing on occasion (save frequently) the options for doing newsletters and multi-layered documents was a big plus in our decision. Don’t worry we’ll keep an eye on Google to see if they catch up.
