Contact Gail Pietrafesa if interested in joining either of the following collaborative video conferences with other NYS schools.

Flat Stanley(Grades 1-4): What happens when a normal boy finds himself flattened by a bulletin board and is sent through the mail to places all across the country? Your students can find out during this project, based on the 1964 book written by Jeff Brown. Classes across New York State will participate in this project and send their Flat Stanley to a different classroom and community in the state. Registration ends March 30. The actual video conference will take place May 7, 8, 9 or 10. Click here for details, including registration link.

March MadLibs (Grades 4, 5, 6): During this collaborative project, your students will work in groups to create Mad Libs to share with another New York State classroom by video conference. See http://nysmadlibs.wikispaces.com/ for details. Registration deadline is March 16.
